Ch1's a little close to the bowl, isn't it? When propogation is strong and people like crack carter are on the maul, you're gonna have a real hard time hearing anyone on ch. 1. I was on 1 a couple times yesterday when things were rolling hard and everynow and then someone from 6 was plugging my ears bad. Just a thought.

Channel 1 is the local channel where i am, would hate to bother these guys.They get pretty annoyed when skip is rolling. Ch 6, 8, 11 are pretty busy when skip is rolling.

You know, I'd think something like CH 24 but then again, that's pretty close to some other big channels. I guess when it's really rolling hard, you're going to get bleed over from a lot of CH's, 6, 11, 20, 28,34

One seems to be doing the trick. It's easy to find ;)

When skip is rolling u can always find me on 1. 425 spends a lot of time on 1 when dx'n is good.

Might I suggest anything over channel 22? Theres nothing as loud as Channel 6 when it comes to skip so bleedover won't be so bad on the other side of the band. I know a lot of you may get some bleedover from 26 & 28 but it cannot be as bad as the 40+ channels of bleedover I get from teh channel 6 boys here in Central Florida.

Bushrod often sets up about 12 miles from my house and he still bleeds 40 channels on my end.

Whatever you all decide, i am game to try it out. Heck go with channel 40...lol

On monday or tuesday i was on channel 1 up hear in southern wisconsin in my pickuptruck i heared 613 in the backwoods of Georgia he was hit me with 20 swing to 30 on the meter i talked to unit 50 in the smokey hills of Tn. And someone in Penn. didnt catch the unit number and heared coolbrezze yesterday on ch.19 sayin he was gettin out of hear to eat dinner and then he was talkin with someone who had a swr problem dont know if that was the coolbrezze from mauldroppers out on the east coast?
