connex 3300 roger beep

i have a connex radio that has the same board as the galaxy 44 , so i put the left out parts in acording to secret cb disk i bought years ago. they named it (puting the peep back in)lol. All i got was the time delay for the beep then the radio un keys, evry thing ealse works fine?if needbe i'll dig out the direct info.thanks for any help :D
