Boomer 500 Base Conversion

Im going to take the origional 4x455 amp out of it and
build a 2x2879 amp mabye even a 1x2290 driving 2x2879
in it...
The way the base amp sits now is only doing 300w peak on a bird meter.. with a 500w slug.. when i get done with it??? it will be a 400w peak / 150w avg bird base amp...

When im done with this project?? I WILL have it up for sale...
This is going to take a month or so mabye less ...due to other projects that im working on... :D

Lol I have 1 of those I've had it for about 13 yrs or so. That was the first thing I did was swap out the board. This thing has been around 5 different amps so far. It's been a 2 pill, 3 pill, 4 pill, and a 5 pill. And right now it's back as a 2 pill with 2879's class AB. It only took me 12 yrs to swap out the transformer. She finally gave up on me. But it's been a nice little box for what it is.

Like to see the before and after pics. Also I would double check the size of the transformer just to make sure your not exceeding the amperage draw.
