Just wanted to post up a few changes that have been made to the registration process. These have been implemented to help stop the influx of lurkers and mindless idiot troublemakers.
1. New registrants must use a "paid" email address (a non free address such as an ISP issued address, hotmail and gmail addresses have all been blacklisted.)
2. Users are required to fill out a 200 character minimum introduction thread that will be reviewed by the staff.
3. New users will be moderated. Auto activation has been disabled and all new users have to go through a background check and moderation queue before they are made active.
This process should not take any new registrant more than 6-12 hours before being made active.
Mauldroppers strives to bring the best online CB discussion forum to it's users without the worries of being attacked by troublemakers and the likes. We hope all new registrants understand the purpose of our system and that we only want serious participants on this board.
