50 posts and 30,60 or 90 days

Being a donor makes it about money, alot of people do not like forums based on money...look at bozo's for example, you get squat unless you pay

Yes we should do this to keep the spammers off.

i would also suggest at this point two things, a time limit, 30-60 days etc to keep things clean and fresh, if the item has not sold in that time it is deleted and the poster is free to re-post if they wish

also possibly more sections under for sale, one for Amps, one for radios, one for antennas, one for accessories and one for "everything else"

makes it easier for someone looking for something specific to find exactly what they are looking for

AND it is easier for Mods/Admin to police

Yes, that's an excellent idea. I am 1000% for making sure that the posts are related to CB radios, if I want to buy a car/boat/stereo system/ etc., I'll go searching for that stuff somewhere besides a CB radio specific website. And I also agree with the idea of setting a designated post count requirement, or a specific number of log in's, or anything that creates the need for someone to have to make the effort of actually "participating "in the forum.

I do not like a "Pay For Play" attitude myself, maybe a dozen posts just to warm things up a bit,I would think that would be fair, there really is not that much stuff for sale on ANY of the websites where I would call it being abused, exceptions would be someone in the buisness for sure, heck,I like to see a lot of stuff for sale and am always looking for a bargain and to add to the shack, just my opinion of course, actually, for the amount of members, not much really for sale per se...GALAXY67 BOB

Just a fun fact. Since Mauldroppers started, the for sale section has sold over 500 items for people. :)
