I was wondering.
I know less is best but what amount of loss do you guys think is "acceptable"?
for example, when tuning your antenna, if your seeing 2% reflect, is that good enough or do you spend the next 3 saturdays trying to get down to 1%?

and as far as coax loss, is there a general rule of thumb for how much loss you will see from your jumpers and meters?

<1% if you are running a 1 kw, 2% reflect is 20w, which is equivalent to a 1.3294313392598152:1 swr ratio

last truck i tuned we had a 1kw dk, and 2w reflect, which is equivalent to a 1.0936299790581079:1 swr ratio

is that a huge difference? no. will you feel better about it? yes.
