I have a 102" whip on my rear bumper, I had a Radio shack spring that was 6" tall. With that set up i had a 1.1 SWR across the band on a external Meter, 1.3 on the Cobra 29's built in meter. I didnt like the way it flung around everywhere while i was driving. I took it off and got a 1.6 on Channel 1 and 2.0 on channel 40... So too make a long story short it needs too get that 6" back. Anyone know what i can to to replace the sring with somthing else too get the length i need?
Thanks
