    inductance doesn't change since the coil is a fixed item. reactance would change, But some changes are due to the overall picture rather then just the stinger being moved.

    so lengthening or shortening the stinger doesn't lower or raise inductance?

    a 179 fluke doesn't go low enough to measure anything less then 1uf with accuracy, if it even read it.

    i said .. i think it a 179 .. i own a few diffrent ones
