    Default 3cx3000f1

    Anyone ever use one if these? The grid current is rated at 50 watts instead of 225 so I can see why a guy building cb amps might not use one. Supposed to be a 3cx3000a1 / 8238 with leads.

    That tube would not play well cathode driven service due to low amplification factor.

    If you were to use it as an RF amplifier tube it would need a neutralization circus.

    yeap works.
    3cx2500h3 has similar requirements (mid mu) for gird..my new 63 usd one works well despite some rumblings from some people
    filament current is a bitch...

    went back to the gs35's in end just cant beat the bang for buck

    I think I could have used one of those, grid driven.. had a chance to get a couple 2500s. Thing is, I am not ready to go there at those power levels without crutches like grid swamping. At least I know what I don't know.
