    single layer shown.

I'm satisfied. If the dielectric layer fails due to 900V pulses or some other rude but totally normal signal, the "bang" sound is very stimulating! Glad I'm not too stupid to do my new job. Some day I will have to learn to spell rite.

i dont think there would be anyone using these for anything more then small signal stuff..even my pcb manufacturer states clearly that they are intended for small signal low volt crap

actually has been around for a while..one of my wifi panels has it to act as a dual driven array by using the alloy backing as the other element ..kinda OWA style to spread the bandwidth which seems clever

They are in use for power conversion in non-consumer applications with the board being bolted to a heat sink and often cooled by forced air. Maybe I can take a picture of one with chunks blown out of the MOSFETs. Interesting to rework those boards.

picture is crap but the point could be that some boards are much larger and have many large size devices on them. This is only the forward converter output stage from a small 400 Watt unit. I suppose this work could be well outside the purview of the usual ham skillset. But it shouldn't be.

Can't wait til the usual RF builders discover and try to copycat this kind of construction.
