    Thumbs up who is SHOEBOX??????????

I'm a member of a cb chapter in the NW corner. I custom build motormauls and put on mobile shootout and tailgate picnics up here in the NW Corner. (All wattage readings are with a BIRD43 RMS METER.) 10m single final (1.5w to 35w), 2pill non-volted (15w to 250w),2pill volted (25w to 500w),4pill non-volted {using the 2pill volted}, and NW MODULATORS 8pill volted (500w to 2,450w) champion for 2008. Chickenhawk told me about the MAULDROPPERS. I run a van with 2 alt, 6-6volt, 2-12volt batteries. I run a old skool 55 and a BB antena in a end-ray fire setup. (phased-out) I like to here about the mobile shootout set-ups your chapters are running.. ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NICE CAR.... Is that a 74 Nova?

I had a 1973 Nova that had a 402 big block (Monte Carlo engine)

It would roast the tires real good too..

Project NOVA is a 77 strip down body (scale weight 3253 with driver) Me and the wife bought for our son for his 18th birthday. It has a rebuilt 1971 ground pounding 350 4bolt,194-76cc heads. Working on getting the 12 bolt possi narrowed 5.5 inches and get the 6 point roll cage in it.Blew the 10 bolt last month. We live 40 miles south of Pacific International Raceways (aka Seattle International Raceways) where we are going to drag race it. The picture is 2 days after we put the fresh 350 and 1 7/8 inch headers with 3 inch pipe and 3 inch flowmasters. There is a video to the picture but can't get to load. I'll have my daughter figure out for me. I know very little about computers. Motocross is our families 1 hobby. We have 6 race bikes and my brother owns 22 acres land in Rochester with a full size motocross track and back flip ramps and foam pit, or ride about a 1 1/2 miles down the road and there is over 50,000 acres of trials. I put together a highly modified 1981 Suzuki GS1100e drag bike
Motorcycle Drag Racing is truly an EXTREME sport.

I used to run out at US41 dragstrip, and my best time was 9.56 @ 147mph

I had it up to 168mph, with some throttle left-- on a rural highway... that is a trip to go that fast.

The bike was totaled when I got rearended by a Ford F150 pickup truck going 45 mph --- I had to come to a real quick stop to avoid a collision myself. She was talking on a cell phone-- and never even hit her brakes.

I went through lower back surgery, and many months of physical therapy. I basically had to relearn how to walk.. I sold off the remains of the Suzuki, but I still have 2 bikes now-- a 1996 Harley Heritage (inherited from my father), and a 2003 Honda Shadow.. I still ride on occasion...

But now i just cruise... No speed for me anymore.:mad2:

    Welcome to the forum btw...
You said it all with the EXTREME sport. I've been air lifted to the hospital more then once. Laying in the hospital bed telling myself "ill never get on a bike again" but the reality is I'll never stop riding. Riding off road I get to make my own rules. The wife won't let me ride a street bike. Had one, took her for a ride and she told me "the bike better be sold before the end of the week." After being married to her for over 20 years Probably for the best. My health insurance rated me as the" Million dollar man plan." Insurance is a must when the leg goes over the seat. the ground might feel like it moved when you hit it at mach 9,but in reality it didn't. It doesn't matter how fast you go as long as you enjoy it. Cars move, trees don't unless you hit one at mach 9. be safe. FMF ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lived in Port Orchard in 2000, I think he lived in Bremerton. He was the person I spoke to the most, cool guy. Lot of radio traffic on 22 in that area.
