Question Johnson Messenger 123A Power Supply

I recently acquired one of these radios and it's missing the power supply. Does anyone know how to make something that works with it or where I might find a power supply for it?

I'd really like to test it and see if it still works. Buddy of mine dug it out of a box in his shed last night for me as a Xmas pressy.

    Thanks yall.

could you open it and solder on new wires and remove the socket on back and use it that way I know its not the best. First question I should've asked is , is there a male or female connector on back of unit

It's kind of both, it's a recessed hole that looks to have one spade type pin in the middle of it.
